Sponsors


There are three levels of sponsorship - bronze ($100), silver ($250), and gold ($500).  Benefits for bronze and above include your logo displayed on the race web site with a link to your web site and your name on the t-shirt, poster and banner (print size based on sponsorship level; silver & gold sponsors have logos on the banner which is displayed at the Science Center for the next year). Additionally, each silver and above sponsor receives a Science Center membership for 1 year plus discovery walks.

The gold level of sponsorship is for any business, organization, or group of friends wanting to be more involved in the race fun by participating in the Race Across the River for the “company” prize of a two hour natural history trip for 10 plus people on Mike Neal’s boat, Island Explorer, or a kayak adventure for up to 8 with Savannah Canoe and Kayak as your guides.  The gold level of sponsorship includes the above benefits as well as the chance to involve employees, co-workers, and/or friends in some healthy fun competing for the prize that everyone will enjoy.  The business or group will select one employee (or member of the group) to race across the Back River and back to the marina.  A kayak will be provided for the person chosen to race.  It is lots of fun for a good cause, all in the spirit of camaraderie and competition.

Of course, any sponsor meeting participant requirements may race in the River Race or the Little Tybee Challenge (see registration form for details; we do not provide the kayaks for these races). Only Gold sponsors can participate in the Race Across the River.
